PARK RIDGE, Ill. - Michigan State senior Emily MacLeod has been selected as the Big Ten women's cross country Runner of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday.

Michigan State's Emily MacLeod earns her second Big Ten women's cross country Runner of the Week honor of the season after taking second place at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational last weekend. MacLeod finished the 6,000-meter race in 20:15, just 1.4 seconds behind the leader. The time also marks a career-best for the Loveland, Ohio native, who led the 20th-ranked Spartans to a third-place finish out of a field of 20.
