Peter Christmas claimed top individual honors at Michigan Intercollegiate on Friday, winning the 8,000-meter race with a time of 25:07.8. Competing in wet and muddy conditions, Christmas immediately pushed to the front of the field and set the pace among the leaders for the entirety of the race. The award marks the second weekly laurel for Christmas, who was first named Runner of the Week during his freshman campaign in 2007.
