Michigan's Luppov Earns Final 2006 Women's Runner of the Week Award

Wolverine set a personal best at the EMU Classic last weekend

Competing in the EMU Classic last weekend, Luppov set a new personal 5,000-meter record of 18:28 and placed sixth overall. The Wolverine sophomore's performance marked the first time in her career that she led the Maize and Blue across the finish line. Luppov is the final Runner of the Week honoree of the 2006 season.
