Big Ten Indoor Track & Field Championships Preview (PDF)
ROSEMONT, Ill. – The SPIRE Institute will play host to the 2018 Big Ten Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championships, scheduled to begin Friday and run through Saturday. Action is set to begin at 10 a.m. ET on Friday.
Last year for the men, Indiana won its eighteenth Big Ten Championship in program history, totaling 112 team points. Penn State finished in second place with 84. Wisconsin was third with 75.5 points, Nebraska finished fourth with 72 and Minnesota ended the championships in fifth place with 67.5 points.
Last season for the women, Penn State won its fourth Big Ten Championship in program history, totaling 96.5 team points, while Purdue was second with 94 points. Ohio State was third with 83 points, while Minnesota finished fourth with 70 and Indiana was fifth with 69 points.
