Co-Track Athletes of the Week 
Brittany Brown, Iowa
Sr. – Upland, Calif. – Upland High
• Swept the 100 and 200-meters at the Willie Williams Classic
• 200-meter time of 22.83 is the No. 1 time in the country and her 100-meter time of 11.44 ranks as the No. 2 time in the nation
• Earns her second Big Ten Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week award
• Last Iowa Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week: Brittany Brown (April 12, 2017)

Symone Black, Purdue
Sr. – Fort Wayne, Ind. – Concordia
• Clocked the nation’s fastest time and finished first in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 57.87 at the UTSA Invitational
• Won the race by 2.17 seconds and is currently 0.98 of a second faster than any competitor in the country this year
• Earns her fourth Big Ten Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week award

Field Athlete of the Week
Savannah Carson, Purdue
Sr. – Naperville, Ill. – Neuqua Valley
• Won the long jump with the nation’s leading mark at the UTSA Invitational
• Mark of 6.34 meters was 12 centimeters better than any competitor in the country
• Earns her fourth Big Ten Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week plaudit
