Track Athlete of the Week 
Brionna Thomas, Purdue
Sr. – Ft. Wayne, Ind. – Wayne
• Broke three school records over the weekend and finished third in the 400-meters with a time of 51.72, the fastest time by a Big Ten woman since 2015 and the third fastest time in the NCAA
• Helped the Purdue 4x200-meter squad to a first place finish with a time of 1:32.38, the nation’s fastest time this season as well as finished second in the 4x400 with a second-place time of 3:28.52, the second fastest time in the NCAA
• Earns her first Big Ten Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week award
• Last Purdue Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week: Symone Black (March 21, 2018)

Field Athlete of the Week
Nicolle Murphy, Minnesota
Sr. – Arkansas City, Kan. – Arkansas City
• Won the javelin throw with the second-best throw of her career at the Ole Miss Classic
• Mark of 56.17 meters won the competition by over 10 meters and ranks as the third best in the NCAA and first in the Big Ten
• Earns her first Big Ten Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week plaudit
