• Earned his second straight individual title, finishing first at the Adidas XC Challenge in Cary, N.C.
• Crossed the 6K finish line in 18:12.1, a one-mile pace of 4:53
• The 2015-16 Academic All-Big Ten selection earns his first career Big Ten Athlete of the Week honor

Women’s Athlete of the Week
Emma Benner, Purdue

• Guided Purdue to its first Indiana Intercollegiates team title since 2008 last Friday
• Earned the individual title after crossing the 6K finish line in 21:25.4, 59.6 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher and a one-mile pace of 5:45
• The 2016 first-team All-Big Ten selection and Big Ten Freshman of the Year earns her third career Big Ten Athlete of the Week plaudit and first this season
