Share Your Story: Molly Cotter
Molly Cotter We had a good, rambunctious, fun-loving group of softball players. Most of us worked our way through school as there weren't any scholarships offered during the time that we played softball. In my four years at OSU, the farthest road trip was to Indiana State in Terre Haute, Ind. We stayed at the Travel Lodge in Terre Haute and had an absolute blast! Kitty O'Brian (affectionately nicknamed, "Kill the Cat") was head coach during my freshman and sophomore years, and Harriet Reynolds was head coach during my junior and senior years. Phyllis Bailey was the women's athletic director and an icon in women's sports. She is, in my opinion, the true pioneer of women's sports at Ohio State University. Playing at OSU was a great experience I shall never forget! |
