Ohio State - Competitive Swimming - 1973-1977

I competed before Title IX so my memories are of when there was little money spent on women. We only participated in swimming meets with schools close to Ohio State, meets were usually held on weeknights (drive up and back same night), and there was no money for food or lodging. We had no OSU warm-ups, towels, or carry bags but did have red/white stripe tank suits. I gradually saw the change as we received more benefits when Title IX began to take effect.
